Dechlor 357 is a proprietary sulfate based dechlorination agent that is particularly effective under alkaline conditions when compared to traditional dechlorination agents such as sulfur dioxide, sodium bisulfite (SBS), or ammonium bisulfite (ABS).

Applications

Dechlor 357 can be used to reduce chlorine in wastewater streams at chlor-alkali and other industrial wastewater facilities.
Dechlor 357 is most effective under alkaline conditions (pH >8.5)
While reduction begins immediately, sufficient contact time should be provided to ensure complete reduction of hypochlorite.
