Caustic Soda is a highly caustic, inorganic strong base used in a variety of applications. Applications include the production of paper where it is applied several times to the process. Textiles, water purification, soaps, detergents, and cleaning agents from household to metal cleaning all use sodium hydroxide in some capacity due to its strong alkaline properties.
